Question for the Community: Bridging the Divide

I’m a volunteer in my church’s youth ministry. There are plenty of unchurched kids but our problem is that we don’t know how to get them connected into “big church” on Sundays. Plus the atmosphere in the midweek is too rough for some of our church parents, so they don’t want their kids coming to the midweek…

Episode 181 - Josh Is Running Late...

Josh joins the fun a little late. After waiting 30 minutes, the gang pulled in Cathy for a short time till Josh arrived. You won't believe why he was late! Our faithful listeners had questions: ministry internships, discerning a call out of youth ministry, leaders expectations, getting a graduate degree, new church navigation and much more. Question for the Community: Starting Small Groups

I’ve only been in my position for about 3 months. The previous youth pastor had fallen out of love with student ministry. We have about 130 kids in our ministry and this is my first ministry job. Question for the Community: Supplemental Ministry Experience to College

Question for the Community: Book of Revelation

My students really want to study the book of Revelation... crazy, right? Are there any books or studies that would make it easy for students? Honestly, do you know of any that would make it easy for me as well? This is probably the most difficult area of the Bible for me, too, so I need all the help I can get.
